The villa is approximately 50 minutes south of Ajaccio. The memories of the famous Corsican Napoleon Bonaparte are everywhere present in its hometown Ajaccio, the capital of Corsica. You notice this, if you wander through the multicolored markets of the city, whose proud churches, magnificent cathedrals and chapels in the midst of of innumerable king palms. The southern flair of Ajaccio is underlined by the multicolored, medieval facades in the Old Town. Worth noting is the Fesch Museum, in which probably the most beautiful collection of naive art is to be found after that of the Louvre, as well as the Bandera Museum, the Museum of Capitellu and the Bonaparte House. The charming capital Ajaccio is framed by an impressive mountain range, which makes the bay perhaps most beautiful in the Mediterranean.
